The West and Northeast scored particularly poorly at 42.1 and 40.2, respectively. Furthermore, firms specializing in commercial/industrial and multifamily residential projects reported even weaker billings, with scores of 40.5 and 40.8. Despite these challenges, nearly half of firms engaged in international projects within the last five years reported work in Canada, which remains the most common international destination.
